At Ravensworth we have a great junior section covering all ages from 5 year old to 18 year old and we welcome children of all golfing abilities.
Our juniors are a great bunch and there is always something going on in our friendly and safe environment.
New to golf, keen to see what its all about or an experience golfer, we have something for you all.
2023 Junior Membership Offers
Ravensworth Golf Club has a thriving Junior Section and accommodates golfers of all abilities. Whether your junior is already engaged in golf, or they are trying out golf for the first time, we have a structured pathway which will take them to the next level.
Our junior coaching sessions are led by World Golf Teaching Federation coach Joe Fraser.
Full Junior Membership
Cost £100 which includes:
● Specialist coaching sessions at Fraser Golf Academy (TBC)
● Full access to Ravensworth golf course and all practice facilities
● Affiliation with both England Golf and Durham County Golf Union or Durham County Ladies Association
● Entry into 18-hole junior competitions which take place every Sunday
● Entry into men’s/women weekly competitions
● Opportunity to represent Ravensworth Golf Club Junior Team in the Durham County Junior League
● Allocation of a World Handicap Index
● A membership card which entitles holder/parents to discounted drinks in the Club House
Junior Blue Tee Membership
Cost £80 which includes:
● Weekly group coaching sessions taking place on a Monday evening
● Full access to Ravensworth blue tee golf course and all practice facilities
● Affiliation with both England Golf and Durham County Golf Union or Durham County Ladies Association
● Entry into 9-hole blue tee junior competitions which take place every Sunday
● Opportunity to obtain a World Handicap Index
● Opportunity to represent Ravensworth Golf Club Junior Team in the Golf Foundation Golf Sixes league
● A membership card which entitles holder/parents to discounted drinks in the Club House
Junior Academy Membership
Cost £60 which includes:
● Weekly group coaching sessions taking place on a Monday evening
● Full access to Ravensworth practice facilities (putting area, practice hole and practice nets)
● Entry into Intra Golf Sixes competitions and Order of Merit
● A membership card which entitles holder/parents to discounted drinks in the Club House
