Eagles Restaurant@Ravensworth Golf Club

We are please to welcom Ian Michelmore as the new franchisee of the Eagles Restaurant.

As well as offering Sunday lunches, Ian and his team will be offering a full menu when he goes full
time at the club from 25th July.

Furter details of opening hours, along with menus will be available very soon. This is great news not
only for Ian but for the golf club and its members. We wish Ian all the best with this new venture
and urge the members of the club and the general public to support Ian.

We look forward to seeing you all in Eagles Restaurant very soon.

Durham County Visit

On Saturday 3rd August Ravensworth will host the County match between Durham and Lancashire.
This a great honour for the club and we look forward to welcoming all the County officials, players

and supporters.

2013 Club Championship

This years Club Championship was another great day at Ravensworth. Our congratulations go to
Jordan Bettis who retained the title he won 12 months ago. Jordan scored 68, 69 to win by 8 shots
and became the first person to successfully defend the title since Ian Wood in the late 1990’s. Not
only did Jordan win the gross competion he also won the nett and addedd the Curry Vase to his list
of titles. Last year Jordan also won Junior Championship, can he do the same this year when its
played on Sunday 11th August……?
There were some great scores on the day and congratulations to all who played and enjoyed the day.
Also a big thanks to everyone behind the scenes, including the green keepers who have presented the
course in fantastic condition.
