  1. Ridge - 451 Yards, Par 4 - One of the toughest opening holes you could encounter. A good drive is required, and to reach the green a long iron or sometimes a fairway wood depending on the wind direction Out of bounds runs the length of the hole down the right hand side.
  2. Wreken Dyke - 142 Yards, Par 3 - Whilst short in distance this green is well bunkered with anything long penalised with a chip back to the green from rough. Iron distance is key to getting any reward from this hole.
  3. Peggy's Bank - 502 Yards, Par 5 - The first of two par 5's. Longer hitters face a water hazard which runs the width of the hole approx 270 yards from the tee. With out of bounds a hazard all the way down the hole on the right. Slicers beware!
  4. The Hill - 255 Yards, Par 4 - A drivable par 4 but accuracy from the tee is vital to avoid the greenside bunkers.
  5. The Island - 191 Yards, Par 3 - A very tough par 3 awaits you at the 5th. Reachable with an iron for the longer hitters but many will need a rescue club or wood to reach - especially if the wind is blowing from green to tee.
  6. Sugar Well - 313 Yards, Par 4 - A makeable birdie chance waits at the 4th should you drive well. Everything in the fairway falls from left to right from the fairway and requires an accurate pitch to set up your chance of par or better.
  7. Dene - 244 Yards, Par 3 - Another long par 3 from the back tees which depending on wind direction could have you reaching for the Driver! Walking off with a 3 here is no disgrace.
  8. Mossbank - 264 Yards, Par 4 - Short par 4 which it is quite easy to reach with two good iron shots but once on the green beware get on the wrongside of the hole and you could well do well to three putt.
  9. Spion Kop - 448 Yards, Par 4 - Simply a monster hole. Drive down to a valley and then a blind second shot to a well bunkered green. Walk off here with a Par is a rarity for most golfers.
  10. Engine House - 309 Yards, Par 4 - You've made it to halfway but a tricky tee shot awaits at the 10th. A meandering stream guards the left hand side of the fairway and a fairway bunker on the right catches the longer hitter. A two tier green then awaits with bunkers to catch those slightly wayward.
  11. Moss Heaps - 314 Yards, Par 4 - A good drive up the hill will set up a short iron to the green which has bunkers front right and back left. Most golfers will make par or better here.
  12. Bridge - 465 Yards, Par 4 - Stroke Index 1 for many years the 12th is a great test of driving ability to set up a chance to reach the green on two. A four here certainly feels better than par.
  13. Emidy - 316 Yards, Par 4 - A ditch runs the width of the fairway approx 215 yards from the tee. Second shots must be accurate in yardage otherwise a long putt may be required to get your birdie here.
  14. Eighton - 212 Yards, Par 3 - Another long down hill par 3 with out of bounds down the right for the entire length of the hole. Par is a good score on this hole.
  15. The Hollow - 406 Yards, Par 4 - Blind tee shot over a small copse with out of bounds down the right. With a green that runs from left to right a good approach shot is required to make par or better.
  16. Angel View - 393 Yards, Par 4 - Almost always into a headwind and uphill a good drive is key to being able to reach this green. With bunkers to the left and right and a two tiered green approach shots need to be accurate to return a credible score on this hole.
  17. Cathedral - 368 Yards, Par 4 - A blind drive with a pond and ditch to the left and trees to the right means accuracy off the tee is key to having a second shot to the green. Once on the green beware of some subtle burrows when putting.
  18. Home Bank - 205 Yards, Par 4 - A short uphill par four that is reachable for the longer hitter. A good birdie opportunity but with trees to the left and out of bounds up the right many a card as been ruined with a wayward tee shot.
