Women In Golf Charter

The R&A launched the Women in Golf Charter in May 2018, supported by England Golf and other organisations from across the industry.

So what is the purpose of the Women in Golf Charter?

> To encourage more women and girls to play the game and join clubs

> To inspire more families to enjoy golf as a group leisure activity

> To open up more opportunities for women to work within the golf industry

Introduction from out Lady Captain - Nikki Dodds

As the current lady captain and the Charter Champion I am delighted that Ravensworth have achieved the Women in Golf Charter status.

It is a massive step forward to growing the ladies game and raising the profile of ladies golf in the club.

We have a small but very active ladies section and I look forward to working with the club to grow the section and enable more women to enjoy the great game of golf. Through the Charter we are aiming to increase the number of junior girls playing golf at Ravensworth and developing a path way for them to playing senior golf.

I am looking forward to delivering the Charter commitments and I am very excited about the future of ladies golf ar the club.
